나는 항상 생각해 왔다. 그것은 축복이 되리라고, 만일 누구나 막 어른이 되었을 무렵 단 몇일 동안만이라도 눈과 귀가 멀어질 수 있다면, 어둠은 그에게 볼 수 있음을 감사하게 만들 것이고, 침묵은 그에게 소리를 듣는 기쁨을 가르쳐 줄 테니까 말이다.
